Artists and Machines exhibition at Centre del Carme Cultural Centre

Contemporary art, full of digital exploration and technology, was not always that way. It was in the 1960s when a new generation of artists began exploring these languages. They revolutionised art, and you can now discover their story at Carme Contemporary Culture Centre.

Artists and Machines: Dialogues in Developing Digital Art is the title given to this major exhibition. You can catch this show on the aesthetic revolution of the 1960s until 22nd May 2022. Galleries 1 and 2 of Centre del Carme Cultural Centre will host this must-see exhibition.

Copy art, video art and net.art each have their own section in Artists and Machines, which features 82 works by leading artists. There are also pieces by such key figures as Amal Abdenour, José R. Alcalá, Philippe Boissonnet and Anna Bella Geiger.
