Both experiences by Món Orxata open the doors to its artisan workshop and organic fields, located in the countryside of Alboraya, an ancient landscape that preserves Valencia’s agricultural traditions.
Here you’ll discover the fascinating history of the tiger nut, an ancient tuber considered a true superfood thanks to its high nutritional value, healthy fats and wealth of vitamins and minerals.

Classic: the essence of tradition – 60' – €25
You’ll start with a guided tour of the organic tiger nut fields, where you’ll discover the secrets of this centuries-old crop, the history of Valencia’s agricultural landscape and its fascinating connection with the Water Tribunal.
Next, you’ll step inside the artisan workshop to see where the magic behind the legendary horchata carts found throughout Valencia begins, before moving on to a tasting of traditional horchata, deliciously sweet and accompanied by its essential partner: a farton.
To round things off, you’ll become a true horchata master in the workshop, where you’ll learn an old recipe made with almonds, tiger nuts and dates that you can recreate at home.

As well as everything included in the previous experience —a visit to the fields, the artisan workshop and the hands-on workshop—, you’ll step inside «Espai Món Orxata», a cultural space featuring a collection of antiques, portraits and other objects that will take you on an 80-million-year journey and change the way you see horchata.
Then comes the tasting, which in this experience includes natural unsweetened horchata, the traditional version, pastries and a delicious horchata cream liqueur —for adults only—.
