Guided tours of San Juan del Hospital
Categories: exhibitions.
The medieval church and cemetery extend their visiting hours for spring and summer
The church of San Juan del Hospital, built in the 13th century, is the oldest in Valencia and has been a National Artistic Monument since 1943. The church forms, along with the medieval cemetery, the San Juan del Hospital complex.
And take note, because now this monument full of stories is adding Mondays to its schedule of guided tours.
With this change for spring and summer, the guided tours to the entire complex are available Monday, Friday and Sunday. The tour includes the church, the medieval cemetery and the spina of the Roman circus, and lasts approximately one hour.
If you prefer to visit only the medieval cemetery, you will get to know in detail the different types of burial and the spine of the Roman circus. This tour takes place on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. from October to April and at 9:00 p.m. from May to September, and lasts 45 minutes.
If you are interested in visiting - individually or as a group - and learn more about the history of the San Juan del Hospital complex, you have to book your place here.
If you're a Valencia Tourist Card holder, you get a €1 discount. And if you don't have it yet, you can get it here.
