Would you like to try an authentic Valencian paella?
Paella is Valencia's most international dish and Albufera Natural Park is the true home of paella. In this natural setting you'll find Restaurante El Palmar, located in El Palmar, where, as well as enjoying an authentic Valencian paella made with ingredients from the market gardens surrounding this wetland, you can also take a boat trip on one of the traditional vessels known as "albuferencs". While you're there, we recommend you try to catch one of the spectacular sunsets from among the rice fields.
Another very popular option is learning to cook an authentic Valencian paella. To do so, we recommend a trip out to the countryside to La Barraca de Toni Montoliu, a traditional country house where young and old alike can enjoy a day out in a charming rural setting.
