On the other side of the old Turia riverbed, the Paseo de la Alameda was the noble access to the long-gone Real Palace. For centuries, aristocrats and bourgeois strolled here in their carriages. Today it is an elegant tree-lined avenue that combines history, terraces, gastronomy and nightlife next to the Mestalla stadium.

Royal Garden & Viveros Garden
This well-kept mega-garden, is the city’s most emblematic. Slides, swings and even a signposted circuit where you can learn how to drive will make you never want to leave.
Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia
Visit the second largest picture gallery in Spain, with pieces by Sorolla, Goya and Velázquez, as well as a collection of unique medieval reredos. Free entry.
Monforte Garden
This little haven of peace in the heart of the city looks like something out of a fairy tale: a palatial mansion with two private gardens full of neatly trimmed hedges, ponds, statues, pathways and coquettish, Instagrammable nooks and crannies.
The Exposition Palace
Elegant 20th-century Modernist gem that evokes medieval Valencia through stained glass, ceramics, and artistic ironwork. A unique historical setting that today hosts events and receptions with great charm.
Exhibition Bridge
A work by Santiago Calatrava; its great white steel arch makes it one of the most recognizable and photographed bridges in the Turia Garden.
Flowers bridge
Inaugurated in 2002, it is decorated with thousands of flowers throughout the year. Colorful and vibrant, it is one of the favorites for walking and taking photos.
Military History Museum
Located in a former military barracks from 1898, this museum explores Spain’s military history through over 2,000 pieces: uniforms, weapons, dioramas, and more. It offers an educational and cultural insight into the role of the army, right in the Turia Gardens and next to other major museums.
