La Alameda: Valencia's noble avenue

Walk along an avenue with history: from the stately elegance of the Jardines del Real to the gastronomy and most vibrant leisure next to the Turia Gardens.

Stately history, grand avenues and leisure next to the Turia Gardens

On the other side of the old Turia riverbed, the Paseo de la Alameda was the noble access to the long-gone Real Palace. For centuries, aristocrats and bourgeois strolled here in their carriages. Today it is an elegant tree-lined avenue that combines history, terraces, gastronomy and nightlife next to the Mestalla stadium.
