Two free concerts and a solemn mass to close the Eucharistic Holy Year in the historic centre
Did you know that Valencia Cathedral keeps a cup which, according to tradition, is the one used at the Last Supper?
This is the Holy Chalice and every five years the city dedicates a Jubilee Year to it, a special period in which the Church invites pilgrims to visit the Cathedral to venerate the relic.
The 3rd Jubilee Year began on 30 October 2025 and ends on 29 October 2026, and to bid it farewell, the historic centre of Valencia will host a series of plans and events open to all audiences.

21 October at 20:00 — Orquestra de Valencia concert – Cathedral – Free admission with advance booking
This evening it is time to enjoy symphonic music performed by the Orquestra de València, one of the city's most historic ensembles.
It is conducted by Alexander Liebreich, who will lead the ensemble tonight with Pablo Márquez on the organ.
The programme brings together works by Wagner, Moliner and Saint-Saëns, all inspired by the legend of the Grail. Who better than them to set music to the story of the Holy Chalice?
25 October at 12:30 – Hakuna concert – Plaza de la Reina
Hakuna is a youth Catholic musical movement and group led by priest José Pedro Manglano.
It is made up of dozens of young musicians and has become one of the phenomena of Christian music in Spain.
You are sure to recognise "Huracán", "Sencillamente", "A ti te alabo" or "Baila y déjate de historias".
29 October at 19:00 – Closing Eucharist – Valencia Cathedral
A solemn mass will officially close the 3rd Eucharistic Holy Year of the Holy Chalice of Hope, right on the day the jubilee ends. Will you come to witness it?
