Travel to the Roman Empire through more than 2,000 hand-painted figures

If you are passionate about history, art and, above all, small details, you have to make a choice in your schedule to come to L’Iber, Toy Soldier Museum to see "Rome in Miniature"

The Malferit Palace —the museum's headquarters— will be the setting for more than 2,000 hand-painted figures depicting the battles and splendor of Roman civilization.

Through eight thematic modules, the exhibition takes a chronological journey through twelve centuries of history.

The start covers the origins and foundation of Rome, moving through the Punic Wars and the crisis of the Republic, all the way to the inevitable fall of the Empire.

And if there is one thing to highlight, it is the spectacular model of the siege of Sarmizegetusa. It is a reconstruction of extraordinary precision that recreates Trajan's conquest of the Dacian capital in 106 AD.

Each of the more than eighty dioramas on display has been built and painted with stunning historical accuracy and level of detail.

Curious? Excited to see them?

You just have to stop by the L’Iber Museum from May 30 to November 1, 2026. You're going to love it!
