Valencia Basket opens the doors to its history!
The Roig Arena holds the soul of a much-loved basketball team in the city: Valencia Basket.
That’s why the club has decided you should get to know it up close and has created an experience, “Valencia Basket Museum & Tour”, so that you can stop just being a spectator and become a key part of the Taronja story — a term and colour that captures the energy of our fans.
This guide will take you on a tour of all the club’s areas and facilities, and help you discover the highlights of this elite sports club.
Naturally, to kick off this adventure, the first thing you need to do is buy a ticket and be at the official Valencia Basket shop (next to entrance D) at the specified time.
What is the tour like?
As soon as you arrive, you’ll receive a smart wristband that will let you pit yourself against the pros in the interactive zone. You can compare your height with the players, test your reflexes or demonstrate your aim before taking it home as a souvenir.
Afterwards, in the history zone, you’ll find all the national and international titles, the most significant shirts and the club’s most iconic moments.
When the sporting schedule allows, the tour is extended to include a visit to the behind-the-scenes areas, such as the press room, the mixed zone, the players’ area and the tunnel leading onto the court, from where you can enjoy the best panoramic views of the Roig Arena.
The tour lasts around an hour and fifteen minutes for the “Museum & Tour” option and 45 minutes for the “Museum Only” option, which is available when there is an event taking place in the pavilion and certain areas are closed to the public.
