Enjoy in this free exhibit of great works from renowned artists such as Sorolla, Zurbarán, Benlliure, Ribera and more
From February 25 to June 11, the city of Valencia will host "From the Darkness into the light", an exhibit that is part of the Year of Sorolla, which brings us 71 paintings and 2 sculptures that can be enjoyed for free in the Palacio de las Comunicaciones (former Post Office building in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento).
Standouts among the works on display, most of them created by artists born in the Valencian Community, are the canvases of Master Sorolla titled "I am the bread of life" and "Valencian farmer".
Together with works from other greats such as Juan de Juanes, José de Ribera, Francisco Zurbarán, José Benlliure and Ignacio Pinazo, this is a must-see exhibit for fans of Valencian art.
Without a doubt, one of the best ways to celebrate the centenary of Master Joaquín Sorolla. Best of all, admission is free.
You can't miss it!
