Solidarity Carnival in Russafa

Do you like Carnivals? Well, take note because this year is full of solidarity plans to help all kinds of causes: those affected by the floods, stop evictions, no to war... and many more! 

The festival kicks off on 8 February at 7 pm in warehouse 3 in Central Park with the opening announcement that will kick off the Russafa Carnival. 

But the big day is 15 February with the emblematic parade. 

From 5pm onwards, the streets will be filled with music, dance and an energy that will make you move your feet non-stop. 

The parade will go through Manuel Granero Park, Filipinas, Pintor Gisbert, Cuba, Buenos Aires, Sueca and Literato Azorín, returning to the starting point with batucadas, troupes and local associations. 

And on 15 and 16 February, the Carnival Market in Manuel Granero Park will be the perfect plan to immerse yourself in a world of crafts, workshops, live music and a great variety of food that will even make your palate sing. 

And if that wasn't enough, the party doesn't end there. 

From 6 February to 6 April, the Central Park will host the “Memoria Carnaval” exhibition, an opportunity to discover the history and essence of this much-loved celebration in Valencia.
