The Prado Museum is displaying its works in the Viveros Gardens

Categories: exhibitions.

TOURISTIC AREA: Historical center

The Viveros Gardens are filled with photographic reproductions of the most iconic works from the Prado Museum.

Can you imagine strolling among the treasures of the Prado without stepping into a museum hall?

Until May 25, 2025, the Viveros Gardens (next to the ruins of the Royal Palace) will be filled with "El Prado en las calles de València," featuring 50 impressive panels (184.5×122 cm) with photographic reproductions of works by artists such as Bosch, Goya, Velázquez, Rubens, Bruegel, Botticelli, Titian, Rembrandt, and Dürer.

And note that two great Valencians will also be represented: Sorolla and Ribera.

This traveling exhibition celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Prado Museum and allows you to journey through the Spanish, Italian, Flemish, French, German, and Dutch schools, from the 12th to the 20th century.

Don't let others tell you about it—come and experience it for yourself, it's free!
