Francisco Mora exhibition at Valencia City Hall
Categories: exhibitions.
TOURISTIC AREA: Historical center
Explore the legacy of the architect behind some of the city's most iconic buildings, such as the Mercado de Colón and the Palacio de la Exposición.
Did you know that most of what you see in Valencia every day came from the mind (and pencil) of Francisco Mora?
Now you can learn about this architect who managed to change the city's appearance with his vision and elegance in the exhibition "La València de Francisco Mora. Architect and town planner. 1875-1961" .
You can enjoy it at the Sala de Exposiciones Municipal (Municipal Exhibition Hall), entrance on Calle Arzobispo Mayoral, until May 2026.
Things to expect
First of all, you'll be captivated by his great masterpieces: the Mercado de Colón, the Palacio de la Exposición and the façade of the City Hall, three architectural gems that bear his hallmark.
But that's only the start!
The exhibition goes much further and highlights lesser-known projects such as the Banco Hispano Americano, the Casa de la Democracia and the preliminary design for Valencia Airport.
Through original plans, models, old photographs and unpublished documents, you will be able to follow in the footsteps, and life, of this creator.
