The Provincial Council of Valencia pays tribute to the conqueror with a very special exhibition: “Jaume I, the Birth of a People”, celebrating the 750th anniversary of his death.
This exhibition invites you to discover the monarch not only as a conqueror, but also as the great architect of Valencian identity.
Jaume I is the man who laid the foundations of who we are today!

The exhibition is located in the Sala de Reinas of the Palau dels Scala —right in Plaza Manises— and can be visited free of charge until October 26.
Be sure to note the opening hours: Fridays from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
