3rd International Organ Festival (FIDO) in Valencia

From 8 May to 6 June 2025 the San Nicolás de Valencia Parish Church becomes the epicentre of organ music with the Third edition of the Valencia International Organ Festival.

This edition aims to honor and raise awareness of how important this instrument is, and to pay tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach on the 275th anniversary of his death.

How is that possible? Five concerts featuring top national and international artists will bring to life one of the few remaining Baroque organs in the Valencian Community, which is a centuries-old instrument with great tonal versatility.

All concerts will start at 8 p.m. Tickets are available here, or via the link below, and cost just €20.

The best part? All proceeds from the festival will go to the Obra Social de San Nicolás charity.

Thursday 8 May - Philipp Christ

Music director and resident organist at the Hauptkirche and Kreuzkirche in Suhl, Germany.

Thursday 15 May - Jorge García Martín

Professor of historical improvisation at the Higher Conservatory of Music in Salamanca.

Thursday 22 May - Atsuko Takano and Fernando Pascual

Atsuko Takano is musical director and organist at the Parish Church-Museum of San Nicolás in Valencia, and Fernando Pascual is professor of violin at the Salvador Seguí Conservatory of Music in Castellón.

Thursday 29 May - Ángel Montero

Organ teacher at the Arturo Soria Professional Conservatory of Music in Madrid and organist at Segovia Cathedral.

Friday 6 June - Juan de la Rubia

Organist at the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
