Flamenco Panorama Series at the Teatro Talia and Teatro Olympia

The art of flamenco is rhythm, music, feeling, emotion… A wonderful way to live and express oneself.

The Teatro Talia resumes a sequence of shows to pay its own homage to this musical genre. From October to February 13, it will host six carefully selected flamenco shows as part of the Flamenco Panorama Series.

November:

Singer Antonio Reyes, with Joni Jiménez on guitar, will perform on November 14 at 8:00 p.m. at the Teatro Talia. The performer from Cadiz is said to be a star of modern flamenco singing, so he's sure to captivate the audience with his art at this show.

December:

On December 19 at 8:00 p.m., the renowned dancer Paloma Fantova will present her show "Mi Verdad" (My Truth). A performance that will transport the audience to the golden age of flamenco, with dancing, singing and playing from the depths of the performer's soul.

January:

We begin the year of flamenco art with an explosive encounter between two titans, Daniel de Francisco & Farruca Montoya. This perfectly balanced combination of zapateado and the elegance that results from the two artists' composition will take place on January 16 at 8:00 p.m.

February:

This month features something new: a midday show starring two promising young flamenco dancers. Aged just 10 and 14 years old, Victoria Amador (the blonde from Antequera) and Triana (La Canela) get up on stage to dazzle you with their art.

When? Pencil them into your calendar for Sunday, February 11 at 12:00 p.m. 

And a couple days later, on February 13, the finishing touch will be put on this 12th edition with the outstanding singer from Cadiz, Jesús Méndez. His deep connection with the songs of "La Plazuela" and his influence on the flamenco scene make him an indisputable leader.
