The Faulcombridge Cup at the Valencia Tennis Club

To give you some context, the Copa Faulcombridge was founded in 1933 and, after more than two decades of inactivity, it returned in 2022 to stay.

This is the most important professional men's tennis event in the city, with the goal of establishing itself as a key fixture in the short and medium term.

How? By being the only ATP clay-court event in Europe for the season finale, an ATP Challenger 125 featuring 32 singles players and 32 doubles players, held at the Club de Tenis Valencia.

Furthermore, the Copa Faulcombridge Ciudad de València is deeply committed to adaptive sports. During the tournament, several initiatives will be carried out with athletes and foundations, sharing values and providing visibility to projects related to adaptive sports.

This edition will hold a special significance, as the 2026 Copa Faulcombridge in Valencia will mark the final farewell of Bernabé Zapata to professional tennis. The Valencian player, who reached world No. 37 after his brilliant run at the 2023 Madrid Masters 1000, has chosen his home to bring his career to a close at the age of 28.
