The gourmet coca flatbread tour returns to Valencia
Categories: Gastronomy.
Come and try 23 irresistible coca flatbreads, served with Ambar beer and brought to you by the best restaurants in town for just €10.
The Ruta de les Coques is back in Valencia, and it's even bigger and better than last year!
Until 18 May 2026, twenty-three of the city's restaurants will be pulling out all the stops with creative coca flatbreads, bursting with flavour, tradition and added contemporary flair.
Two great examples are the "Coca Valencia Noble" of confit quail and artichoke cream from Ateneo Restaurante and the spiced lamb with labneh acid and mango from Atenea Sky.
Meanwhile, the seafaring vibe will be brought by Front’s “Coca Latido Marino”, last year’s winners, featuring prawn tartare and sea urchin cream.
And the best part? Each coca and a small beer will cost you €10.
Yes, you read that right: for €10, you can enjoy a mouth-watering experience in restaurants in Valencia's different neighbourhoods: Ruzafa, Cánovas, Ciutat Vella, Cabañal, Puerto, Extramurs, Campanar, Aragón, Alameda, City of Arts and Sciences and, as a major new addition, Pinedo.
How does the tour work?
Over two weeks, participating restaurants will offer their special coca, paired with a selected Ambar beer to enhance its flavours.
You decide where to start and how many to try.
Just pop into any of the participating establishments, order the festival coca and enjoy.
But don't forget to vote for your favourite! You can do so until 13 May.
The five most popular recipes will go head-to-head in the final on the 18th, where a panel of experts will choose the “Best Coca in Valencia”.
Go ahead and work up an appetite, because here is the list of establishments where you can enjoy this delicacy.
