Want to experience a real-life nativity scene?
Then head over to the Tribunal de las Aguas square in Valencia!
There you'll have the opportunity to walk among shepherds with their sheep, cross the river, pass by Herod's castle, listen to the revelry in the tavern or the sound of the artisans' tools.
This original event is organized by the La Purísima Grao school and is open to all visitors.
For several years now, they have been organizing this event, which involves the participation of more than 300 people, all of them dressed in clothes appropriate to their scene, and each year the number of characters and places has grown.
New this year is a visitor service stand, and there will be explanations in English of what each scene represents. Theoretical knowledge is thus transformed into practice.
Oh yeah!
This may be the best way to become a pro at setting up a traditional nativity scene.
