“Dinosaurs of Patagonia”: the exhibition that takes you millions of years back in time.
CaixaForum Valencia travels millions of years back in time to present “Dinosaurs of Patagonia”, an exhibition that goes far beyond displaying giant skeletons.
Here, the stars are not only the dinosaurs, but also the people who discover them: the paleontologists.
Through rocks, fossils, and spectacular replicas, the exhibition invites you to learn how these scientists work, what they search for, and how they manage to reconstruct the history of our planet.
The undisputed highlight of the exhibition is a replica of the Patagotitan mayorum, a 30-meter-long giant.
Alongside it, you’ll find fifteen casts of skeletons and original fossils of species discovered in southern Argentina — a region that holds the best dinosaur record in the Southern Hemisphere.
The exhibition features thirteen sections that trace the evolution of these animals: carnivores, giant sauropods, and smaller herbivorous species that lived together millions of years ago.
And the exhibition doesn’t come alone! It also includes guided tours and a wide range of parallel activities designed for the whole family.
