Trace the footsteps of the Holy Chalice and discover Christianity's most iconic relic.
You may have heard of the Holy Chalice... or you may not have. According to tradition, it is the cup that Jesus Christ held at the Last Supper.
And it's right here... in Valencia!
Now you can learn about its history, mysteries and journey through the centuries with the special guided tour "Valencia, city of the Holy Chalice", which is held every Friday at 10:00 am.
What can you expect from this tour?
You'll spend two hours exploring the historic city centre, following the route of the Holy Chalice with an official guide.
The route starts at the Tourist Office in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and ends at Valencia Cathedral, with stops outside the Church of San Martín, the Plaza del Patriarca, the Church of San Juan del Hospital and the Casa de Sabina Suey.
Once you get to the cathedral, the most interesting part begins.
You'll be able to skip the queues, see the cathedral museum and visit the Chapel of the Holy Chalice, where this much-revered Christian relic is kept.
We won't tell you any more... you'll have to come and find out for yourself!
