Do not miss it

A hundred works by Mediterranean artists like Joaquín Sorolla, Santiago Rusiñol, Antoni Tàpies and Miquel Barceló make up the "Paths to Modernity 1860 - 1980" exhibit.

This display, made up mostly of exclusive pieces from the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, has been set up in the Valencia headquarters of the Bancaja Foundation to take the public on a unique artistic journey.

The adventure begins with creations from early Naturalism. The itinerary gradually advances towards movements such as Modernism, Luminism and Noucentisme.

After showcasing the innovative but melancholy attitude of the artists from these periods, "Paths to Modernity" puts the finishing touch on the exhibit with various avant-garde works that express a new concept of beauty.

"Paths to Modernity 1860 - 1980" is an original exhibit where you can enjoy a unique look back at various pictorial movements from the second half of the 19th century to the 1980s.

Take advantage of this opportunity to discover how Mediterranean art evolved without having to leave Valencia :)
