Music with a distinctive local feel comes to Valencia

Here comes the 3rd edition of "Music with a Designation of Origin", a series of free concerts for all audiences in which the best regional bands from Valencia fill different venues and public spaces in the city by the Turia River and other towns with music and joy.

More than twenty small groups — big bands, quartets, chamber groups and more — are putting on shows throughout the region to show to the public how passionate Valencians are about their music.

If you're in the area, don't miss any of the concerts scheduled in the city, where music has a different feel. Take note!

September 16 at 10:30 p.m. — Centre Instructiu Musical de Benimaclet. Plaça de Benimaclet.

September 25 at noon — Agrupación Musical Santa Cecilia del Grao. Calle José Ballester Gonzalvo.

October 1 at 6 p.m. — Agrupación Musical San José de Pignatelli. Marxalenes Park.

October 9 at 11:30 a.m. — Sociedad Musical Unión de Pescadores. Warehouse #2 of the Valencia Marina.

October 23 at 7:30 p.m. — Sociedad Unión Musical San Isidro. Museum of the station, on Escuelas street in San Isidro.

Remember that you can also visit other places in the region and take advantage of some of the shows scheduled to get to know the area surrounding Valencia.
