If you're passionate about the world of design, then you simply must see Ágora Valencia: a fleeting building that has become a showcase for the events of World Design Capital Valencia 2022.
Located in the iconic Plaza del Ayuntamiento, it's not just a sustainable structure that combines tradition and modernity, craftsmanship and industry, originality and creativity.
Ágora is a portable, open and accessible pavilion for hosting a full range of events: round tables, educational workshops, professional meetings, exhibits, conferences and more.
This peculiar construction, made of twig and ceramic, in addition to being an original space to accommodate different activities related to the world of design, is itself a work of art that is well worth visiting.
Its undulating roof mimics waves on the sea and, at nightfall, Agora lights up like a lighthouse, reminiscent of the essence of the Mediterranean.
Plus, on October 21, Ágora will feature an installation by RadianteLab, a lighting system that uses algorithms to generate architecture in real time. It is open to visitors every day from 8 to 9 p.m.
The structure will be in the center of the city through late December, when it will move to the Marina de València. So if you're in the area, take the opportunity to enjoy the scheduled activities and discover the wonders of Valencian creativity in this unique setting.
