Double Elephant and Rodeo Drive: documentary photography at Bombas Gens

After the success of Sculpting Reality, the second chapter of this exhibition comes to Bombas Gens Centre d'Art with Double Elephant and Rodeo Drive: two key photographic series that are from the Per Amor a l'Art collection.
The Double Elephant series is made up of a careful selection of fifteen snapshots by Evans, Álvarez Bravo, Winogrand and Friedlander, which invites the viewer to discover the beginnings of the documentary genre in photography in the 1930s.
The Rodeo Drive exhibition, meanwhile, is a show by Anthony Hernandez in which, through 41 of his works, the artist shows how colour increasingly came into this genre during the decade of the sixties.
