The Centre del Carme hosts "Scenarios for the near future"
This exhibit reflects on what housing will look like in the next ten years
The flying cars we envisioned for the future have not arrived.
What about homes? What will they be like in ten years?
Design and architecture professionals venture to explore the changes that we will see inside our homes in coming years as part of the activities of World Design Capital Valencia 2022.
Tachy Mora is the curator of the "Scenarios of the near future" exhibit, which revolves around five concepts that are already present in our society:
Because today's families are no longer like those of the past, but much more diverse, and life situations don't remain stable as long, which is why spaces have to be flexible and multifunctional, and the furniture, modular and sustainable.
The exhibit brings together pieces of furniture and lighting that explore the changes that will come in the near future.
From November 23 to March 19, 2023, these imagined domestic scenes can be visited at the Centro del Carme Cultura Contemporània CCCC.
