Abierto València 2024: a contemporary art event

LAVAC, the Association of Contemporary Art Galleries of the Valencian Community, is celebrating its big contemporary art week from 26 September to 4 October in style. 

17 exhibition spaces and galleries scattered throughout various neighbourhoods of the city will open their doors so that the public can experience art. An event that puts the icing on the cake with talks, meetings and routes that will connect the artists with the most critical eyes of the city. 

National artists such as Xavier Cuíñas, the Valencian Ana Esteve Llorens or Andreu Alfaro, but also big international names such as Monique Bastiaans, Lauren Moffatt or Ylana Yaari will be present during "Abierto València" week.

Thursday 26 September 

7 pm - inauguration of the "Miradas Abiertas" exhibition at the Centre del Carme 

Friday 27 September 

5 pm to 10 pm - OPENING of Abierto València 

5 pm to 8:30 pm - ARCO GalleryWalks and guided tours  

Saturday 28 September 

10 am - ARCO GalleryWalks and guided tours 

6:30 pm - talk at IVAM with Ianko López and Lorena Pérez Jacome 

Sunday 29 September 

11 am to 2 pm - galleries open their doors 

12 pm to 1:30 pm - ARCO GalleryWalks 

Monday 30 September to Thursday 3 October: 

5 pm to 7 pm - Cervezas Alhambra will offer guided tours 

Friday 4 October 

12 pm - the winner of Cervezas Alhambra will be announced and the Abierto València event ends in the winning gallery
