The Easy Albufera Bike & Boat Tour
The great thing about this tour is that you get two experiences in one: getting to know l’Albufera and its nature by bike, and in one of its traditional boats, the albuferenc.
Although you're free to do it however you want, here are the stages that we recommend so you don't miss out on any of the must-sees of l’Albufera Natural Park.
First stage of the Easy Albufera Bike & Boat tour: Valencia - El Saler
Leave from the bike rental shop The Easy Way, on Avenida de Francia 10; city bike with seven gears or electric, whichever you prefer.
You head toward El Saler, a ten-kilometer ride past crop fields. The city retreats and you start to smell the scents of the sea and the pines.
Once in Saler, it's time to get on the typical boat, called albuferenc, with the bike on board; a local guide will be waiting for you there and will take you through the rice fields of the Albufera.
Second stage of the Easy Albufera Bike & Boat tour: Gola del Pujol
The boat drops you off at Gola de Pujol, leaving you on the path that connects Lake Albufera and the Mediterranean Sea. The route is easy, just follow the map.
The scent of pine trees, birds singing and the murmur of water accompany you as you continue to venture into l’Albufera Natural Park with its emblematic jetties.
Hungry yet? You can go back to the city and eat there, have a picnic in one of the posted picnic areas or book a table at one of the restaurants in the area.
Third stage of the Easy Albufera Bike & Boat tour: Albufera-Valencia
Little by little, the City of Arts and Sciences grows on the horizon, you arrive in Valencia, you leave the bike where you picked it up and that's it, you now have a new adventure in your backpack. Are you in?

Bike rental: a city bike with 7 gears or an electric one, your choice.

Helmet, padlock and lights, because safety comes first.

Map of l'Albufera with routes and the cycle path marked.

The boat ride with the bike on board.
Interest info
Starting point: Avenida de Francia, 10; at the bicycle shop The Easy Way, which is across from the City of Arts and Sciences.
Bicycles can also be picked up at The Easy Way bike shop in the centre. Calle Mantas 3. 46001. Valencia.
IMPORTANT: Once you have booked, you need to call + 34 961 143 955 or email easywayvalencia@gmail.com to confirm the shop where the bikes will be picked up.
This is an excursion you do on your own, with no guide or schedules.
The food is not included.
Departure times: every day (except Tuesdays and Sundays) at 10:00 a.m.
Duration: 4 hours if you return to the city to eat. If you stay in l’Albufera, however long you need, but you have to return the bike to The Easy Way by 8 p.m.
Age: the route is intended for adults and children at least 1.5 meters (59") tall.
Children cannot use an electric bike.
Eco-sustainable route (the boats are electric).
The boatmen do not speak English.

Tickets can't be cancelled or refunded, but you can request a change of date by writing to customer service at vlcshop@visitvalencia.com. You must provide at least 48 hours' notice.

VLC Tourist Card discount
Discount with the Valencia Tourist Card: 10%
The 10% discount is individual and non-transferable, like the Valencia Tourist Card.
If you are booking the activity for more than one person and want the discount, you will need as many VTCs as people doing the activity.
