Bombas Gens: a factory that preserves the memory of Valencia
Few places in Valencia bring together so many lives in such a small space as Bombas Gens. This guided tour takes you from a 15th-century wine cellar, where the Marxalenes vegetable garden was once cultivated, to the workshops of the former hydraulic pump factory and to an air-raid shelter steeped in the silence of the Civil War. You end up in the Mediterranean garden, where an installation by the artist Cristina Iglesias links that past with the present. Art, nature and architecture, hand in hand.

How it works
- When booking, please specify the day you would like to take the tour
- Duration: 60 mins
- Opening times: every day at 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., except on Tuesdays. Between 6 July and 16 August, tours are only available at 6:00 p.m.
- Meeting point: the main courtyard of Bombas Gens, at Avenida de Burjassot, 54–56. 46008 Valencia
- Languages available: Spanish, Valencian and English
- The entire tour is accessible, except for the shelter due to its architectural structure
- You will receive the tickets by email, so you can download the eTickets to your mobile phone.
What's included in the experience
- A 60-minute guided tour of Bombas Gens with a specialist guide
- A tour of the four areas of the complex: the medieval wine cellar, the old hydraulic pump house, the air-raid shelter and the Mediterranean garden
- Visual aids using a tablet, with images and historical documentation for each space
- Small-group tour, with a maximum of 25 people.
- Optional: a glass of wine or organic orange juice for an extra €5
Discounts and special rates
- If you buy your ticket together with the Valencia Tourist Card, you’ll get a 10% discount
- Reduced rates are available for children aged between 4 and 12, people aged 65 and over, and people with disabilities
- Admission is free for children aged 0 to 3

Tickets can't be cancelled or refunded, but you can request a change of date by writing to customer service at vlcshop@visitvalencia.com. You must provide at least 48 hours' notice.

Discount with the Valencia Tourist Card: 10%
