What to do on Museum Day in Valencia
San Juan del Hospital Church
The San Juan del Hospital Hospital Complex Museum opens the doors of its medieval cemetery, the only one preserved in Valencia!
On May 18th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, you can visit it completely free of charge. Every 30 minutes, there will be a guided explanation of the burial area and the remains of the Roman Circus of Valencia.
In addition to the visit, that same day there will be a Charity Market to benefit the San Juan del Hospital Social Center, featuring handcrafted items, sweets from the Poor Clare Nuns, fans, tote bags, and backpacks made from fallero fabric.
Hortensia Herrero Art Center
The CAHH celebrates Museum Day with Anselm Kiefer as the absolute star and with free admission —with prior reservation— on May 18th.

This former Art Deco factory joins International Museum Day in Valencia with "The Secret Map of Bombas Gens," a participative experience to rediscover its heritage in an active way from May 16th to 18th.
If you sign up —completely free of charge at the center itself— you will be able to explore locations such as the Civil War shelter, the 15th-century wine cellar, and the old factory using a map and QR codes.
