“Media Server Sessions”: Digital Art Exhibition in Valencia

Bombas Gens presents the second edition of “Media Server Sessions”, its programme dedicated to audiovisual and immersive creation, where technology and creativity go hand in hand.

With this initiative, the centre will once again become a visual and sound hub showcasing some of the most powerful proposals in digital art.

Immersive? Sensory? Every one of them is designed to evoke emotions and deliver a truly captivating experience.

If you would like to experience them, simply head to Bombas Gens with a ticket in hand on 11, 18 or 25 June, or on 1 July 2026.

What is there to see?

For this edition of “Media Server Sessions”, 60% of the submissions came from international artists. However, due to their exceptionally high standard and originality, the jury selected a programme made up exclusively of creators linked to the Valencian art scene.

In addition to the artworks themselves, each piece will be accompanied by a presentation video in which the artists explain their creative processes first-hand.

And that's not all!

The screenings will also feature music sessions in the Bombas Gens garden, organised in collaboration with the Volumens Festival.

Artists and works featured in “Media Server Sessions”

• Archivo Cero with the immersive piece “Col.lapse”

Archivo Cero will create a space where light and sound react to your presence.

It is a constant interplay between order and chaos, where everything breaks apart and rebuilds itself around you in less than a second.

• Pablo Iglesias and Óscar Fernández with the immersive work “Frontalidad Rota”

An installation that completely surrounds visitors through the repetition of a single letter combined with optical effects.

As the character is fragmented and multiplied again and again, your mind begins to perceive new forms in an almost hypnotic way.

• Laureano Solis with the virtual reality experience “Latido”

To experience this work, you will put on a virtual reality headset and enter the universe created by Laureano.

As music by the Argentine composer Nazareno Saavedra plays and various characters dance around you, every movement, step and turn you make will alter both the melodies and the choreography.

No one else will experience it in exactly the same way as you.

• Vitamin Studio with the immersive installation “Matt3R II:  The Architecture of Existence”

This work begins with a display of spectacular lights and monumental forms that appear, disappear and continuously transform around you.

You will feel as though light itself becomes solid walls and buildings, only to transform seconds later into a completely different and ever-changing landscape.
