Would you like to discover the fascinating world of 19th century fashion and textiles at the Benlliure House-Museum?
Until 25 May 2025, you can explore "Clothing and Textiles in the Benlliure House-Museum Collections", an exhibition showing 52 exquisite pieces from the personal collection of the painter José Benlliure Gil.
You can admire a varied selection of corsets, doublets, jackets, waistcoats and dresses, as well as fine fabrics, elegant accessories and even a fascinating corset designed for pregnant women.
Each of these elements has been carefully restored and preserved so that you can appreciate their beauty and historical value.
This exhibition is not only about textiles, but also offers an intimate glimpse into the creative process of the painter, who used these objects as props to bring his paintings to life.
