Fallas

From the 4th of February until the 19th of March, València is overturned by Fallas celebrations, a festivity that combines tradition, satire and art which shouldn’t be missed for anything in the world. 

*Masks are required at all indoor and outdoor activities for both participants and spectators. Additionally, a 1.5-metre safety distance and capacity limits will remain in place at all stationary events.

Monday, 14th of March
02:00 pm - “Mascletà” in the Townhall square

5:00 pm.-Closing of the Children's Ninot Exhibition.
5:30 pm. - Reading of the popular verdict and proclamation of the "Ninot Indultat Infantil" of 2022.
5:45 pm. – Collection of the ninots by the commissions until 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, 15th of March

08:00 am - "Plantà" of all the children's fallas.

02:00 am - "Mascletà" in the Town Hall Square.

05:00 pm - Closing of the Ninot Exhibition.

05:30 pm - Reading of the popular verdict and proclamation of the "Ninot Indultat" of 2022.

05:45 pm - Collection of the ninots by the commissions until 20:00 h.

12:00 am - L'Albà de les Falles throughout the city with fireworks display in the Town Hall Square.

Wednesday, 16th of March

08:00 am - "Plantà" of all the fallas.

02:00 pm "Mascletà" in Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

04:30 pm - Children's Awards Ceremony.

In the tribune installed in the Town Hall for the distribution of prizes for the children's Fallas in the different sections, as well as children's presentations, Ninot parade and children's Fallas llibrets.

12:00 am - Fireworks display in the Paseo de la Alameda.

Thursday, 17th of March

09:30 am - Awards Ceremony.

On the rostrum installed in the Town Hall for the distribution of prizes for the Fallas in the different sections, as well as for the competitions for illuminated streets, presentations and llibrets de falla.

02:00 pm- "Mascletà" in the Town Hall Square.

03:30 pm - Offering of flowers to the Mare de Déu.

With the collaboration of the Falla Fray Pere Vives - Bilbao - Maximiliano Thous.

12:00 pm - Tribute to Maestro Serrano, which will take place at his monument on the
Avenue of the Kingdom of Valencia

02:00 pm - Mascletà" in the Town Hall Square.

03:30 pm - Offering of flowers to the Mare de Déu.

Saturday, 19th of March

11:00 am - Offering of flowers by the Falleres Mayores of Valencia and their Courts of Honour in front of the image of the Patriarch on the Bridge of Sant Josep. With the collaboration of the Falla Doctor Olóriz-Arzobispo Fabián y Fuero.

12:00 pm - Solemn Mass in honour of Sant Josep in Valencia Cathedral, officiated by the Archbishop of Valencia, Antonio Cañizares, and offered by the Junta Central Fallera and the Carpenters' Guild. With the attendance of the Falleras Mayores of
Valencia and their Cortes de Honor.

02:00 pm - Mascletà in the Town Hall Square.

06:00 pm -Fire Parade along Calle Colón, from Calle Ruzafa to Plaza de la Porta la Mar.
