Valencia welcomes its most international party: Las Fallas.
The city vibrates every day with the traditional mascletà, a concert of explosions of gunpowder with a unique sound that takes place daily at 2.00 p.m. in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Afterwards, the terraces of the city are filled to enjoy under the Mediterranean sun the typical aperitif and the traditional Valencian food.
From the 1st to the 19th of March, every day a Mascletà is shot at 02.00 pm in the la Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Town Hall Square) by the best pyrotechnics. Valencians and tourists congregate around the fire zone to enjoy the deafening spectacle.
Afterwards, the city’s outdoor bars and cafés fill with people enjoying a typical pre-dinner aperitif.
What is the best way to see a mascletà? A very good option is from a balcony in the Town Hall Square, to be able to see it and listen to it in the best way.
