What happens when matter and language intertwine?
Until 2 March 2025 the “BABEL. MATTER AND LANGUAGE” exhibition invites you to explore this question through works that dialogue between the tangible and the expressive.
It is a collection of fifty pieces in total, grouped into four theme-based sections.
They all revolve around the matter-language relationship. Art should not only be seen, but also deciphered.
“BABEL. MATTER AND LANGUAGE” becomes much more than an exhibition; it is an experience that confronts you with art and its meaning, which does not always go hand in hand with the appearance of the artwork.
This collective exhibition is part of the Kells Collection, which is one of the key benchmarks in Spanish contemporary art.
