Somni is the new culinary venture from Hiba Malek and Nazir Hanna, the Syrian-Spanish couple behind Miracle, the first 100% gluten-free restaurant certified by ACECOVA in the Valencian Community and twice recognised as Spain’s best gluten-free restaurant by the Celicidad ranking. Located in Nou Campanar, Somni represents the natural evolution of a journey rooted in inclusive, creative cuisine designed so that everyone can enjoy it without restrictions. Its entirely gluten-free menu fuses Mediterranean recipes with the flavours of the Middle East, using local produce and contemporary techniques. Dishes such as smoked aubergine mutabal, green hummus, rice baked in a llanda with Iberian pork and porcini mushrooms, and desserts inspired by Middle Eastern spices reflect a unique identity that bridges both cultures. Designed by the Leca and Leco studio, the space incorporates handcrafted elements, architectural references from the Middle East and a distinctive scent of jasmine. Somni thus stands out as one of Valencia’s most unique new openings: a place where gastronomy, design and hospitality come together around the table.
