Casa Montaña, founded in 1836, has always been a family business closely linked to gastronomy and the city of Valencia, especially the maritime district of Cabanyal-Canyamelar. In its early days, as a grocery store, it supplied oil, wines, and spirits to residents and sailors living in the city's maritime settlements, as well as to the various ships that docked in its port.
