How to get from the airport to the city centre

Valencia Airport is located just eight kilometres from the capital and is very well connected by bus and metro.

  • Metro

There are two metro lines that connect the airport with the city: Line 5 Aeropuerto/Torrent Avinguda – Neptú and Line 3 Aeropuerto / Palmaret – Rafelbunyol. Both run approximately every 15 to 20 minutes and reach the city centre in about twenty minutes. The ticket price is €4.80 (plus €1.10 or €2.10 for the cost of the card).

A TIP: We recommend purchasing the Valencia Tourist Card, which includes unlimited free urban public transport (also the journey between the airport and Valencia). It also offers attractive discounts in museums, leisure activities, shops, restaurants…

  • By regular bus

The bus line that directly connects the airport with Valencia city centre is Metrobus line 150. The stop is located at Terminal T1, Floor 0, right outside the arrivals area and clearly signposted. This bus passes through Manises, Quart de Poblet and Mislata before entering Valencia, where it stops at Ángel Guimerà, Mercat Central (Avenida del Oeste) and Av. Ramón y Cajal.

The journey takes around 45 minutes and the usual frequency is 20–30 minutes. The service runs from 6:21 to 22:36 Monday to Saturday, and from 7:35 to 22:15 on Sundays.
There is also a night service: it operates Monday to Thursday every 45 minutes and on weekends from 3:00 a.m., connecting the airport with Valencia outside daytime hours. SEE STOPS
