III Entry of the Clòtxina in Valencia

Come and enjoy a giant clòtxina, tastings, xaranga (live music) and show cooking in El Cabanyal!
On 5 July 2025 , the Cabanyal Market Square will be filled with the flavours of the sea for the “III Entry of the Clòtxina”, a festival welcoming the queen of the season: the Valencian clòtxina!
On that day, an open-top lorry will open the procession with a giant two-metre clòtxina, half a tonne of fresh produce and a xaranga that will set the tone for the day.
And the best part? With a market purchase receipt, you’ll get a free tasting! the chefs from the “Del Tros al Plat” programme will cook 4,000 servings so you can enjoy this mussel the way it should be.
Plus, there’ll be live music, workshops, games, a themed photocall and live cooking demos, where Valencian chefs will teach you tricks and recipes to help you win anyone over with clòtxinas.
All you have to do is come hungry, eager to have fun and support the local produce that’s so central to the Valencian summer.
