Streets lit up in Fallas

As the Fallas festivities approach, you can feel a different atmosphere in the air: churro stands on every corner, the typical "Fallas weather," the joy of Valencians, and neighborhoods adorned with decorations.

Every year, the Junta Central Fallera organizes a contest for illuminated streets, where different areas of the city deploy resources to flood their streets with colors.

Moreover, some of them hold a special lighting event but remain illuminated until the end of the Fallas cycle: "La Nit del Foc."

The most notable is the Falla Malvarrosa-Antonio Ponz-Cavite, which organizes a musical show for the event on March 8 at 8:00 p.m., and it will be repeated every half hour until 11:00 p.m. every day until March 19.

Furthermore, three of the most popular fallas in the Ruzafa neighborhood also inaugurate their lighting on March 8, although you can admire them throughout the Fallas: Cuba-Puerto Rico, Sueca-Literato Azorín, and Cuba-Literato Azorín. Completing the A category is Convent Jerusalem-Matemàtic Marzal.

But not only them, there are also a large number of falla commissions that illuminate the Valencian Fallas nights. So, when you walk through the city, don't get distracted and be amazed because they are everywhere.
