TOURISTIC AREA: Sea towns, Maria and beaches
Although it belongs to the neighbouring municipality of Alboraia, the birthplace of the precious horchata (delicious!), it is the natural extension of the Malvarrosa beach. It has an area accessible to people with reduced mobility and all kinds of services, including the rental of parasols and hammocks. Furthermore, if you go to Patacona in the early morning hours or at sunset, it is very likely that you will find an idyllic setting when you see a group of riders riding along the seashore. What a picture!
And don't worry if you get hungry, because the beach also offers a very interesting gastronomic and leisure offer around you. Its promenade has a great atmosphere all year round, especially at weekends. Just five minutes from this beach you can visit one of the best-preserved sections of L'Horta in Valencia, one of the most outstanding places in the region and the origin of the important fruit and vegetable production in the area. Come and visit La Patacona.
