The cathedral of bullfighting in Valencia
Next to the North Station (Estación del Norte), a monumental circular structure catches the eye of passersby: the Valencia Bullring. Its exterior features four brick arcade galleries with 384 arches and stone balustrades. Inside, in an impressive 52-meter diameter arena surrounded by stands and seating, the city's main bullfighting festivals are held.
It was inaugurated in 1859 and has undergone several modifications over the years to improve spectator comfort.
If you have the chance to attend a bullfight or a concert, you will enjoy a truly special atmosphere and setting. Otherwise, the simple exterior view of this imposing monument is equally impressive.
