What is “La verbena de la Paloma” about?
The story transports you to the festivities of the Virgin of La Paloma, celebrated in Madrid at the end of the 19th century.
Here, you will witness the jealousy of Julián, a young printing-house cashier who struggles to cope with seeing Susana, the woman he loves, accept the attentions of the elderly pharmacist Don Hilarión.
