What "La verbena de la Paloma" is about
The story takes you back to the festivities of the Virgen de la Paloma held in Madrid at the end of the 19th century.
Here you will witness the jealousy of Julián, a young printing press clerk who doesn't take it well when he sees how Susana, his beloved, accepts the advances of the old apothecary Don Hilarión.
Bickerings, romance, humor, and an unexpected ending. Curious? You just have to take a seat in one of the Les Arts armchairs to find out what happens.

What if you could see how the performance is prepared before it hits the stage? On Friday, October 30, you have the opportunity to watch 30 minutes of one of the rehearsals.
After this, a guide will accompany you on a tour of the building so you can discover its architectural and avant-garde details.
In total, an experience that lasts about two hours and will make you feel part of the staging.
There are two sessions, at 2:30 p.m. in English and at 4:00 p.m. in Spanish, and the ticket costs just €30.
