Categories: parties and traditions.
TOURISTIC AREA: Sea towns, Marina and beaches
Medieval fair, dances, music, epic fights and a multicultural festival not to be missed.
Valencia dons the turban and chain mail!
The Maritime-Valencia Moors and Christians Association is gearing up for a celebration that blends tradition, history, culture and a whole lot of partying on 18, 19, 20 and 21 September 2025.
For four days, the seafront promenade at Cabanyal Beach, in the Arenas district, will be packed with craft stalls, decorations and workshops of every kind, as well as music and dancing galore.
Market atmosphere, street performances and the aroma of spices to tempt your appetite are all on offer here, plus countless places to grab a bite to eat.
Write it down in your diary: Saturday 20th, starting at 7 pm, it’s time for the “29th Maritime Moors and Christian Procession”.
The best place to see it is Calle de la Reina.
And what is the “Moorish-Christian procession”? A large parade in which Moorish and Christian groups march alongside farmers, ballet dancers and musical groups to recreate ancient raids on the coast.
Don’t miss this historical and multicultural festival with a Mediterranean flavour!
