Ensems, the contemporary music festival in Valencia

Categories: music.

TOURISTIC AREA: Historical center

The city fills with contemporary music and activities in the new edition of Ensems.

The longest-running contemporary music festival celebrates its 47th edition with an extensive program from September 20 to October 1, 2025.

In total, it offers more than 10 activities in different formats, including performances, sound installations, and concerts by artists such as Apartment House, Juan Pérez Floristán, Cosmos Quartet, or the Orquestra de València.

In addition, the festival will pay tribute, on their anniversaries, to Luciano Berio and Pierre Boulez, two creators who shaped the course of contemporary music, while also highlighting the work of Amando Blanquer, a key figure in Valencian music.

And all of this takes place completely free of charge at the usual venues: Les Arts, the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània, and Plaça de Viriat.

Come discover, listen, and let yourself be moved by contemporary music with the Ensems program.
