Christmas lights flood the city of Valencia

The glow of Christmas lights marks the beginning of this eagerly awaited celebration.

On December 4th at 7:30 p.m., the spirit of Christmas will take over València with the official lighting ceremony, which this year will hold special significance. As a gesture of respect for those affected by the DANA, the lights will be lit three weeks later than usual, turning the event into a tribute to the victims of the disaster.

The lighting ceremony will not be the usual celebration but rather a moment of reflection and remembrance. The event will feature the presence of the Falleras Mayores and the choir from the Iturbi Municipal Conservatory, and the Nativity Scene in the Crystal Hall at the City Hall will also be inaugurated. This event will transform the streets of Valencia into a space of light and solidarity.
