The historic heart of València’s port
An elegant neoclassical building with modernist elements marks the entrance to the Marina de València and the port: the Edificio del Reloj (Clock Building). Originally built as housing for the Valencian bourgeoisie of the early 20th century, it is now the headquarters of the Port Authority. The iconic clock tower that gives it its name is quite a landmark.
Why is the Edificio del Reloj worth visiting?
- To access the Marina de València from Avenida del Puerto
- To admire its architecture, a beautiful example of the so-called French style
- For its proximity to the dining options and nautical activities in the Marina
- It is one of the icons of maritime València
