Lienzo (Bib Gourmand By Michelin, 1 Sol Repsol)
COOKING TYPE: Mediterránea
Lienzo offers dishes that are made from the very freshest local produce and combine Basque, Andalusian and Catalan influences, resulting in a perfect balance between creative, ingredient-oriented and bistro-style cuisine. Its location in the heart of Valencia's historic city centre, allied with its unique interior décor, ensure that a visit to Lienzo is always unforgettable. The minimalist ambience shines a spotlight onto the quality of the dishes on offer, while the restaurant’s simple, tasteful style is completed by the use of Philipe des Soliers tableware, Andreu World furnishings and Lechienerrant linens. Each dining area has a different lighting scheme and there is a private room for more exclusive functions, to add a finishing touch to this truly singular restaurant. The members of the kitchen team all learned their trade at a variety of first-class establishments: chef Daniel López Muñoz, for example, previously worked at Zuberoa, Vertical, La Sucursal and Las Rejas, as well as several restaurants in Italy’s Piedmont region, among many others. He creates a new menu every season, based on the freshest ingredients and giving centre stage to the region’s natural flavours. Moreover, Lienzo’s service staff speak a number of different languages, which ensures that customers from overseas will always feel at home.
