Third Jubilee Year of the Holy Grail in Valencia
From October 30, 2025 to October 29, 2026
In 2015, Pope Francis granted the city of Valencia the celebration of the Holy Jubilee Year every five years. This commemoration makes the capital of Turia one of the seven jubilee cities in the world and allows its visitors to obtain plenary indulgence.
What is a Jubilee Year
A Jubilee Year is a special period in which the Catholic Church promotes conversion, forgiveness, and spiritual renewal, and during which plenary indulgence (the total remission of sins) can be obtained.
How to obtain the indulgence
Certain requirements must be met to gain plenary indulgence:
- Pilgrimage to the jubilee temple, the Cathedral of Valencia.
- Confession.
- Communion.
- Prayer for the intentions of the Pope.
