The Church of San Juan de la Cruz is transformed into a living space where music and light interact in real time with “ PIANOLIGHTS®: IMPRESIONISTAS”, a concept that goes far beyond the traditional concert.
What exactly are Pianolights® concerts?
They are an immersive artistic and audiovisual experience, using the most advanced technology to bring out the best in today’s top performers.
Striking the perfect balance between music, stage design and architecture, Pianolights® gives artists the full expressive potential of light and sound, projecting their nuances in all directions.
This is the Pianolights® “IMPRESIONISTAS” experience.
Throughout the recital, pianist Pablo García-Berlanga will perform music inspired by Impressionist painting while the lighting and projections change in real time, following what is happening on the piano.
The programme embodies the spirit of key composers such as Claude Debussy, Erik Satie and Maurice Ravel, while also engaging in dialogue with the vision of Impressionist artists such as Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Edgar Degas, including a subtle reference to the brilliance of Joaquín Sorolla.
