What is the most anticipated event of the year in València?
Las Fallas and, along with them, the mascletà.
In case you didn't know, the mascletàs take place every day from March 1st to 19th at 2:00 PM in València's Town Hall Square (Plaza del Ayuntamiento) and are the favorite event for locals and visitors alike.
It is an unforgettable experience: every day at 2:00 PM, thousands of people gather in the Town Hall Square, as if performing a ritual, to witness a powerful pyrotechnic session that lasts between 5 and 7 minutes.
And what a few minutes they are!
A show that blends sound, the smell of gunpowder, color, and the contagious excitement of the crowd, building in crescendo towards a breathtaking grand finale.
In short, it is something you simply cannot miss.
You can enjoy the fireworks from the square itself, of course. But undoubtedly, the best way to enjoy the mascletàs is from a balcony, where you can have a privileged perspective and avoid the crowds. And the best part is that they are accessible to everyone.
Mascletàs from Atenea Sky
From March 1st to 19th, enjoy the gunpowder, music, and gastronomy with 360º views from the 8th floor of the Ateneo Mercantil.

Mascletà Passeig de Russafa 3 (Penthouse)
Access via the elevator located next to the Cines Lys entrance.
Enjoy this open-air terrace to experience the mascletàs in a different way. 450 m2 of terrace (with limited capacity) await you at the Cines Lys Building viewpoint, with the best views, live music, menu, DJ, and Chill-Out area.
Schedules:
- Penthouse opening: 12:45 PM.
- Open bar and Menu service: from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Mascletà Balcony - Marqués de Sotelo 1
Location: Marqués de Sotelo, 1 (5th floor, door 10).
Located at the main entrance to the square, this balcony offers an excellent side perspective so you don't miss a single detail of the roar and the grand finale, accompanied by exquisite cocktail-style catering.
Access Times:
- From March 1st to 14th: Access at 12:30 PM.
- From March 15th to 19th: Access at 12:00 PM.
Mascletà Balcony - Ayuntamiento 5 (Terrace)
Location: Plaza Ayuntamiento, 5 (Terrace).
In the very heart of the square, this terrace places you just a few meters from the "fire zone," allowing you to live the experience immersively and feel the vibration of every shot alongside exquisite cocktail-style catering.

- From March 1st to 14th: Access at 12:30 PM.
- From March 15th onwards: Access at 12:00 PM.
Mascletà Balcony - Ayuntamiento 2
Location: Plaza Ayuntamiento 2, 4th Floor, door 9.
One of the most iconic locations. Experience the Fallas tradition from an emblematic building with front-facing views of the area where the pyrotechnicians work their magic, accompanied by cocktail service.
Access Times:
- From March 1st to 14th: Access at 12:30 PM.
- From March 15th onwards: Access at 12:00 PM.
Mascletà at Hard Rock Cafe Valencia
Looking for a mix of adrenaline, rock, and tradition? At Hard Rock Cafe Valencia, you can experience the mascletà from an enviable location. Its balconies offer a direct view of the epicenter of the party, letting you feel the roar of the gunpowder while enjoying its genuine atmosphere and international gastronomy.
